Race Stock Sports was established in 2003 with the idea that every skier should have access to the highest level of service. Our mission is to provide you with the highest quality and most appropriate performance ski
products and to customize these products so you can reach your highest potential as a skier.
The bottom line is very simple: If you are a better and more comfortable skier after you have had us set up your gear then we both have success. You are our only advertising.
We generally work for good skiers helping them put the equipment puzzle together so that it fits them. We work with and sell non-race equipment all the time and often can help war-torn used gear live another day. Our boot service is by appointment, but during the fall and winter you're welcome to stop by, see the shop, ask performance related ski equipment questions, or schedule appointments.
More than half of our clients come from 150+ miles away. For those of you that are strictly along as the driver, we have comfortable chairs, a k-cup coffee machine from Green Mtn. Coffee (local Waterbury company with a factory tour 5min away), a clean bathroom, X-Box, and plenty of decent magazines. Ben and Jerry factory is five minutes away and there are several places in town for lodging. Stowe is 20min north on Rte. 100 and Sugarbush/Mad River are 20min south on Rte. 100. The mountain biking and hiking are really incredible right in Waterbury and if you can take the time to explore the trails you won't be disappointed.
We do try to answer the phone but sometimes it is impossible or rude. We do return messages and are especially fond of e-mail.
